The Stewardess Ministry prepares the Lord’s Table and altar for communion and accommodates the pulpit for service. They also assist with flowers at funerals and services of celebration held at the church. Stewardesses must be nominated by the pastor and confirmed by at the Quarterly Conference. Stewardesses are also responsible for the following: Assisting the pastor in several rituals of the Church, including Holy Communion and Baptism; assisting in the “Open Door” of the church and the reception of new members.
