Music has always played an important role in the life of the church and in the worship of God’s people. The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship, and provide an avenue through which individuals share their gifts and be an integral part of the worship service experience. The fundamental purpose of the choir ministry is to lead people in worship of the Almighty God. The Music Ministry also enables choir members to grow spiritually by committing their time and talent to God. The music ministry provides worship music for assigned church worship services and special services outside of the church.The overall mission of the New Elizabeth AME Church (NEAMEC) Music Ministry is to allow the Holy Spirit to be manifested through music and song for the purpose of ministry, adoration, unification, and encouragement, thereby enabling the corporate congregation to be edified, and the Lord Jesus Christ to be glorified.
